20 Sep: Duffy Live@ New Pop Festival Baden-Baden

SWR3 have coverage of this German festival.

You can currently watch an interview with Duffy at this link.

Duffy performs at 11:45 German time on Saturday 20th Sept. Some of this may be covered by SWR3 radio at the time.

Duffy's set will apparently be broadcast on the evening of 27th September (at 00.35 German time) on SWR3 Late Night Extra TV Show on a channel which is available in Europe via Astra Satellite (analog and digital). Thanks to forum user "Black" for explaining that the channel is possibly called "Südwest BW" or Südwest RP". If anyone can DVD record this program please let me know!

Also, part of Duffy's set will be broadcast on SWR3 Radio (available via the internet) on 2nd October.

    Yesterday, the concert finally aired on TV. I recorded and cut it! At the moment, I'm uploading the files on sendspace.com (~150MB per file). I guess, it takes around an hour or two, and then I'm going to post the links here.

    Well, it took a little bit longer than 2 hours, but finally they're uploaded. I'm glad that I could help the people who cannot get enough of Duffy. Sadly, I couldn't be there in Baden-Baden, though it was very close to my hometown.

    Hey Trexter,
    Do you know if Stepping Stone was shown on tv?

    I don't have the Stepping Stone video but Duffy mentions "This next song is called Stepping Stone" at the end of "Cry to Me".

    Oh dear... I numbered them wrong and had two number 7, "Cry To Me" and "Stepping Stone". Like you mentioned it: Cry To Me is followed by Stepping Stone, Tomorrow and Mercy.

    It was part of the SWR3 Pop Festival from Ratstatt.

    No, sorry! I wanted to record it, but I thought it would be aired on the same channel as the full concert, but it wasn't.

    I heared her performance live at radio, and she performed Warwick Avenue. And I remember that this video was somewhere on the SWR3 Homepage, but I cannot find it now!

    It was on ZDF. 2 hour concert special.

    Was Warwick ave the only song Duffy did do you know?

    I'm pretty sure that Warwick Ave was the only song she performed there. It was just 2 hours and I most of the guest performed there. Plus, there was the special about Udo Lindenberg, so most of it was talking and the few bands that played one song.

    can someone pleaser upload rockferry again? i have downloaded it from the forum and also here and it just shows me the first screen and won't play. I have downloaded it from 2 separate sources, twice and it doesn't work no matter what I do. I even tried mpeg corrector on it andi t still doesn't work. Please make sure the file plays before you upload it. thanks

    What program are you using? Try GOM Player or rename it to .vob and open it with DVD software. For some reason Winamp will not play Rockferry for me (although it plays the other tracks) but GOM Player and PowerDVD play this file for me.

    and i'm sorry about the problems with the codec - normally i don't use MPEG, but the programme just records in MPEG, so that was the easiest way to cut it!

    There's no problem with the codec,, just a problem with people's players I think! LOL

    And sendspace was playing up (no matter what sendspace file) but now it works fine... that is a sendspace problem, not your problem!

    I just want to let you know that I've recorded the SWR3 New Pop Festival Special from ZDF. I'm just uploading Duffy's performance on sendspace.com and hope that I can give you the links as soon as possible. Sorry for the belatedness, but I hadn't time until today to cut the videos out.

    She did two songs Mercy and Warwick Avenue.

    By the way you can also add Syrup & Honey to the setlist of the full concert, this was the first song of the gig (I know it, because i was there, on my second Duffy gig). I really don't know why they didn't broadcasted this song, it was a great opener.

    Yes, I was featured in the vid too(but only at the main concert at the theatre Baden-Baden, because I wasn't at the special). I stood in the first row as close as possible to Duffy. She was the most time only around 2 metres away from me. The waiting time over 4 hours has definitly paid off!
