Welsh singer-songwriter Duffy has brought her Rockferry to Hong Kong last Friday (March 20) at the AsiaWorld-Arena. Dressed in pink qipao, the singer kicked off the show with the title track "Rockferry" with a six-man band. After "Hanging On Too Long", she went back stage for a while and back with a red hot dress to get "Serious". She continued with hits like "Rain On Your Parade", "Warwick Avenue", "Stepping Stone". She also performed "Stay With Me Baby", which is a cover of Lorraine Ellison's "Stay With Me" and is featured on the soundtrack of The Boat That Rocked. The singer also greeted the audience with Cantonese and said, "There's been an expectation to come here in Hong Kong and everything lives up to it." The main set ended with everyone daning to no-dancing-problem-with-security-guards-anymore hit "Mercy". For the encore section, she first brought us a Joe Meek cover - "Please Stay", "Scared" and finally the poetic album ender, "Distant Dreamer". Although there was a drama with a dancing lady and few security guards, the show was welcomed by Hong Kong fans.
