Duffy To Perform hit single “Stepping Stone” on Rachael Ray February 3rd and Austin City Limits February 14th

(Jan. 27, 2009 - New York, NY) As worldwide sales move past the 5 million mark for Mercury Records artist Duffy’s debut album ROCKFERRY – the young singer now follows up her three Grammy Awards nominations – Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance (for “Mercy”) – with Tuesday night’s announce­ment of the 2009 BRIT Awards nominations in London: British Female Solo Artist, British Break­through Act, British Single (“Mercy”), and British Album. Duffy tied Coldplay for the most BRIT Awards nominations (four) this year.

On February 3rd, Mercury Records will issue two special digital-only releases – the ROCKFERRY EP (seven audio tracks plus the “Rain On Your Parade” video); and ROCKFERRY COMPLETE: THE DELUXE EDITION (18 audio tracks plus the “Rain On Your Parade” video). Individually:

Since last summer, Duffy was featured as a VH1 “You Oughta Know Artist” for 6 months and continued to support Warwick Avenue and Stepping Stone since last spring. She has graced the cover of SPIN Magazine and performed on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, CBS’s The Late Show with David Letterman, NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Night with Conan O’Brien, ABC’s Live with Regis & Kelly, CBS’s The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and The Early Show, MTV’s TRL, Ellen, and Austin City Limits on PBS (scheduled for broadcast the week before the Grammys).. In addition, Clear Channel Online Music & Radio has supported Duffy from the begin­­ning of her career, spotlighting her as Featured Artist in their NEW program and adding her to the roster of artists for their live performance series, Stripped. Duffy has also performed “The Interface” for AOL and is currently featured as Yahoo Who’s Next- Success Story.

“Mercy,” which hit #1 on iTunes and Amazon, was heard everywhere in 2008, from the season finale of Grey’s Anatomy to episodes of ER and Smallville, The Ghost Whisperer, The Hills, American Gladiator, to promo spots of Moonlight, Women’s Murder Club, and most recently Entourage and the campaign for FOX’s new season of Damages.
