I don't think that Duffy has been on really top-form on any of the American appearances I've seen .... this is the right image for her there though .... the fun girl next door ... which is what I think she is anyway
I had fallen asleep with the TV on and this fantastic music woke me up half way through "Mercy". It was a live broadcast by a singer I had never heard before. The rhythm, the hauntingly seductive quality of her voice, and the articulation of instruments and background vocals hooked into my mind with a sizzle! I can't get it out of my mind. Then I saw her and she is drop-dead-hot. Look out world, it's Duffy!
