Duffy says she got her bad behaviour out of her system at an early age thanks to growing up in a tiny seaside town.
The singer, from Nefyn, North Wales (population 2,550), told me backstage at the Teenage Cancer Trust gig: "People might assume that I haven't really lived life, but in a small town things kick of f. All we did was drink cider and smoke cigarettes. I've made all my mistakes with boys - and there were plenty of them!"
London must seem boring by comparison.

Some of those small Welsh market towns are a bit like the wild West ... well a lot like the wild West. Duffy must have had a hard time singing in Gwynedd, if it's not Bryn Fon the lads would rather have a fight.
